  California State University-San Bernardino and the Water Resources Institute, a Center for Water Policy and Education, hosted Fire and Rain: A Forum on Flooding Hazards Following the California Wildfires on Monday, March 22, 2004.
  
  This forum provided practical information to the general public, local officials, land-use planners, developers, and the members of the media on hazards, long-term impacts, and emergency response efforts in San Bernardino County. Panelists included an assortment of well-known experts in the field who designed the forum specifically for the general public.
